Départ imminent!! - Imminent departure!!!

Ca y est : demain grand départ !!

Aujourd’hui, la course : finir les valises, imprimer et photocopier tous les papiers Erasmus (un bon gros dossier n’est ce pas), les spécialités belges pour le snack international, etc…

Mais voilà, c’est bon je suis prête à partir !

J’ai la chance d’avoir de la pluie pour m’accueillir à Porto… Ô joie…

J’essaierai de poster un article pour mon premier jour demain soir !!

That's it : let’s go to Porto in one little day !!

Today, I had a lot to do : finish to pack things, print and scan all documents for Erasmus (a lot!!), buy some belgian specialities for the international snack, etc…

But now it’s done, i’m ready to go !!

I’m so Lucky it’s raining in Porto tomorrow… GREAT… (ironic, you'll get to know me and my love for rain...)

I’ll try to post an article tomorrow about my first day in Porto !!

Valises - Suitcases

Bon je sais que j'avais dit que je ferais un article sur le logement en erasmus mais avec les examens et les fêtes, je n'ai pas eu le temps et puis maintenant je n'en ai plus envie... A la place je vais écrire un petit article sur les valises!

Bon, deux mots quand même sur le logement... En erasmus, on a plusieurs solutions pour se loger : en résidence (point négatif : décentré et on ne peut pas inviter de gens extérieur à la résidence a dormir), 

en appartement (ce que j'ai choisi, un appartement dans le centre avec deux autres chambres, un jardin et un pti chat), 

chez l'habitant (mais c'est plus contraignant parce qu'on n'est pas vraiment chez soi). 

Alors voila, j'ai fait deux de mes valises, la petite de cabine et la grosse d'été! Je ferai celle "d'hiver" une semaine avant de partir parce que l'air de rien, je dois encore m'habiller jusqu'au 27...

Well, i said i would write an article on accomodation during erasmus but with my exams and Christmas and New Year, i had no time... And now, i don't want anymore! 

Ok, just a few words about accomodation. You can live in

a university residence (but it's not in the center and you can't invite people to sleep),

an appartement (that's what i chose, a flat in the center with 2 other rooms, a garden and a kitten),

at someone's house (but you're not really at home).

I pack my summer things yesterday! I'll do the winter suitcase one week before departure because i need some cloths to put until 27th January...

I'm not going to explain everythting about

what an erasmus is, 

what the name is for, etc...

Who cares??

Indeed, what matters is the erasmus in itself!

That's it, in 33 days, i'm going to take a plane and land in Portugal :D

I've never been there and i don't know why, 

when i saw "Porto" on the list for erasmus destinations, 

I knew i would go there!

I'm currently at Saint-Louis University of Brussels (new name, since one week). In that uni, we can make our erasmus while we are undergraduate! (what nice people)

I didn't knew it when i enter this uni (because i went there by pure chance).

So, to make a long story short : i fill all the papers in, 

i get my first choice destination (the two others were : Madrid, Antwerp) 

and i had a lot of trouble with my Learning Agreement (have to fill it in like 5 times before it's ok --')

One month ago i was informed of my erasmus grant (which was not as much as i expected, bastards!!) but well, Portugal is a really cheap country compare to Belgium so i'll survive ;)

Another thing that's great : with erasmus, you don't pay uni fees!

 so if you go to a private uni, you won't have to pay the 3000€ or more fees :D 

Now, i have to pack all my things in my luggage...which will be difficult!
